Since early winter, I've been busy with several Zoom art workshops. The instructors have been amazing with adapting to a whole new format for teaching.
Along the way, I've learned how to work with oil paint mixed with cold wax, a truly addictive medium for me. These paintings are 8 x 10 and done on oil paper. See another one in my Gallery.
You can see the small example on the right. It's from a photo I took while wine tasting last fall, just before I stopped going anywhere.

Another Commission
I was delighted to be asked to paint another pet portrait as a birthday surprise. Bailey is the beloved furry family member of a dear friend and her husband. Since this charming dog is never far from his tennis ball, I decided it should be incorporated into the painting too.
The most rewarding part of doing these pet portraits, is capturing their unique personalities.
